will take place in Cracow/Kraków (Poland) 5-8 September 2005

The 56th Conference will be held at the Law Faculty, Jagiellonian University of Cracow to commemorate the five hundred years anniversary of the adoption of Nihil Novi Statute as reflective of the separation ofthelegislativefrom the executivepowers and introduction of the bicameralism into constitutional system of Kingdom of Poland 

The Conference will focus on the following topics:

ˇCONSTITUTIONAL DEVICES IMPLEMENTING STATE POWER IN EUROPE: MIDDLE AGES THROUGH 20thCENTURY

ˇPARLIAMENTS AND THE POLITICAL CULTURE:MIDDLE AGES THROUGH THE 20th CENTURY

ˇLAW-CREATING PROCEDURES AS APPLIED IN THE REPRESENTATIVE BODIES: MIDDLE AGES THROUGH THE 20th CENTURY
